Early the next morning, Loui knocked on my door to inform me that First Beta Jaxson is expecting me for breakfast. She said that I need to introduce myself to the pack and she's quite happy in front of me now. I hurriedly fix myself. I brush my teeth and hair and put on some light makeup and go to the dinning, which I will tell you, is not easy to find. 

When I got there, I saw a lot of wolves chatting but stopped when they saw me. Everyone is looking at me as I walk into the room. Jaxson on the other hand let me sit in Luna's place that gained whispers from the pack members more. I look at Jaxson and notice that there's no mate sitting on his side.

"Everyone! Listen," Jaxson shouted. Everyone in the room became silent

"This is Lady Adellee, she's a healer from SnowMoon pack. She's staying with us now. Give respect and greet her." He said with an authoritative voice. 

Some of the wolves howl with acceptance while others just look at me with no emotion at all. Some of them are girls. Maybe daughters of the high-ranking wolves. Jaxson looked at me and requested that I introduce myself to the people inside. I become nervous but shrug it away. I can't show any weakness here.

"Hi everyone. I'm Adellee, daughter of Alpha Elliot of SnowMoon pack. It's nice to meet you all. I am very pleased to be part of your pack. I am a healer; you can come with me if you need some help or assistance." I said before I sat back. 

I turned my attention to my food. I finished it all. I forgot that I didn't eat yesterday. I’m so tired because of the long drive from my pack to Silvermoon. North to south.

“Lady Adellee, since Alpha Kayden is not here right now, he told me to tour you around the pack. We can go after breakfast." He said. 

I smile at him. I can't hide the excitement that fills me. I really want to see this place since I grew up with cold and ice around me. Jaxson smiled for the first time after seeing my reaction. 

That's the first time I saw how good looking he is. His face reminds me of Channing Tatum. So sexy and those dimples make him more attractive. I bet a lot of women here are trying to get his attention. I don't have my wolf, that's why I can't smell any potential mate. 

What am I thinking? Do I like Jaxson to be my mate! Gather your thoughts Adellee! I said to myself.

"I am very delighted to do that. I really want to see this place. I have lived in SnowMoon for my whole life and this place is new to me." I said.

"Well, I think you need to dress less. It's hot outside and with clothes that fully cover your body, you will be sweating a lot." He said.

"Sure." I stand up and excuse myself to the others and run back to my room. I changed into skinny jeans, a plain white shirt and a pair of boots. I run back to the dining room, which is now empty except for Jaxson who is now standing at the door, wearing black pants and black shirt. Sexy!

"Ready?" Jaxson asked.

"Yes." I answered.

The sunlight burns my snow-white skin but I don't care. Jaxson took me first to the back of the palace, which is the garden. The smell of the flowers lingers in the wind and brings me peace. I take note that this will be my sanctuary whenever I feel tired. After the garden, he takes me to the training field. It’s a flat clearing with a sand bag that makes it look like a ring.

A huge man who looks like Darak (A wrestler and actor, you can see him in Fast and Furious) came to us.

"Lady Adellee, this is Second Beta Connor or in your pack is the third in command or Gamma. He's in-charge for the pack training." Jaxson said.

"It's nice meeting you Lady Adellee. I heard that you're a warrior in your pack. I can't wait to see you train with us." Connor said. He's just wearing a sports shirt; his full huge glory body is on display. Oh, dear Goddess, I'm not aware that there's a lot of perfect sculptures in this pack. My virgin eyes are hurting. Although he is so big and scary, he has this cocky side of attitude which makes me feel comfortable in his presence. It's also nice to know that I can still train here even though I'm not a shifter.

"Oh! That's great. You can see me there tomorrow. I want to train with you guys. Back in SnowMoon, my father is always sparing me and my brother." I answered. It's nice to feel welcomed by these people. It's not bad at all. At least here, there's no father that will shout at me every time I make a mistake in my training. But don't get me wrong, I love my dad. He is the best Dad in the world except when he is training me.

"I'll see.... then, I expect you to show yourself tomorrow." Connor.

"Wait! Alpha Kayden needs to know this before Lady Adelle starts to train with the pack." Jaxson said. 

"Easy jax, you know Kayden, he’s expecting a strong mate. I’m sure he’ll agree with this." Connor said before he excuses himself and gets back on training.

We tour around more before Jaxson leaves me because of an urgent call and pack problems. He didn't explain it though, he told me to wait for him. I sit under a big tree near the training ground. I can see Connor shouting to a pair of wolves that are sparing now. I stretched my body until the scent hit me. 

A river! I stood up and forgot about waiting for Jaxson. I run and run until I come to a river. It's very beautiful and I can't help myself. I want to feel the fresh water in my body. I hurriedly took off my clothes except my panty and bra. I run and jump into the water. It's warm and very clear. I swim and swim until I'm exhausted. I just lay there floating until I sense something or someone is watching me. I look around but I see nothing. I go back to the tree where I put my clothes and put them on. I can still feel that someone is watching me.

"Is there anyone there?" I asked. Because I lack a wolf sense since I'm not a shifter yet, I can't smell as good as others who have their wolf. I hear a cracking of twigs near me.

"Who's there?" I shouted. Is it a rogue? Can a rogue be here without them knowing? Oh my gosh I need to run. I'm in trouble. I do as I said. I ran back to the pack house until Jaxson came into my view.

"Lady Adellee? What's happening?" Jaxson asked. 

"I-i…. I went to the river and swam there, until I felt that there’s someone looking at me. I shouted and asked if there’s anyone there but no one answered me." I said while trying to catch my breath.

"Did you catch the scent?" Jaxson.

"Nope! I think it's near the riverside so its scent was masked by the river and I also lack a good scent since I don't have my wolf yet." I explained.

"That explains everything." He said.

"Is it a rogue?"

"Nope, don't worry about it. You can change now. Lunch is already set. Come down after you finish fixing yourself." He said.

"Fixing myself?" I asked. Why should I fix myself?

"Yes, Lady Adellee. Alpha Kayden has already arrived and he is joining us for lunch." He said. He's here?
