"Adellee are you free today?" Kayden asked

“Yes, you know that I don't have anything to do here until we fix the schedule of my patients that will be transferred in my care." I said

"Yeah, you're right. Well.... I would like to tour you around if you like.” He asked.

"You really going to do that?" I said, excitedly.

“Yup, since it's your second week here already. I might need to introduce you personally to the pack. They haven 't seen us together." Kayden said.

“That’s quite nice of you Alpha. Jaxson already gave me a tour around but it was quite a quick round. I haven't gone too far." I said.

"Then we should go then. I'll wait for you outside." He said.

I ran as fast as I could to my room and fixed myself. I wear a black ripped jeans and a plain white V-neck shirt paired with black boots. I just put my hair in a messy bun and put on some lip gloss and hurriedly run outside.

I saw Kayden standing outside the door and when he turned around, we both looked at each other and laughed.

Kayden is also wearing a black ripped jeans matching with black boots and a white V-neck shirt. We look like couples in our pairing clothes.

“This is funny." I said when I'm by his side.

He bumped me using his shoulder. "You copied my outfit.” He said laughing.

“No. I did not! I didn’t even know that you're wearing something like that. I saw you wearing a pair of jeans and black shirt a while ago." I said

"Well, it's funny that we are wearing the same type of clothes." He said.

"Yeah get over it. So where is our destination?” I asked

“Since our pack is living on the north side of the land, which you can see from here, we will be going there and checking on them. I want you to familiarize yourself with our perimeters and location.” He said

‘The way he said that this was our pack makes my heart beat so fast! Shit! What am I thinking....?’ I said to myself.

He put his hand on my back and I could feel a little spark where his hand was resting. I look at him but he seems not to realize what was happening

Is it possible that I have a mate? I don't have a wolf right now or I'm just imagining those things. I ignore the sparks in his touch and let him guide me on our way. If he can feel that, he will be telling me. I think?

He keeps explaining to me the roots of their family. The kind of life they have here. He speaks like he's been thinking about this so many times.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Kavden asked 

“I’m just fascinated about your story; it seems that you know every single thing in your pack." I said.

"Well, I do and I need to, I am an Alpha and my father is a man of history. We value our legacy and we honor our ancestors. Because of what they did, was the foundation of what we have now." He said, smiling at me.

I smiled back. I started feeling comfortable when he's around now.

“Alpha." An old man greets Kayden and looks at me. "You must be Luna Adellee." He said.

“Just Adellee Mr…?"

"Oh. I'm sorry Luna, my name is Frank and this is my wife Krizelda.” Frank said.

"Nice meeting you Frank and Krizelda." I said while offering my hand to them. They hurriedly accept and shake my hand.

"You are so beautiful Luna Adellee. You're perfect for our Alpha.” Krizelda said.

"Thank you. He is quite a good catch." I said that makes us all laugh.

After talking to Frank and Krizelda, we visit the river to rest. Someone already set the food in a picnic style.

"Who made this?" I asked.

"One of my servants. I told them that we were eating here." He said, while placing food on my plate.

"Thank you." I look at him and I saw him smiled

“Your land is beautiful. Full of life, full of nature." I said after finishing my food.

"Do you like it here?

"I do, it’s lively and colorful. But I also love my pack." I said.

“Your old pack. This is your pack now Adellee." He said.

"I know, but I was born in SnowMoon. I was a healer there and a fighter but here, I am nothing." I said.

"You’re not nothing here. You will be my Luna. A mother to everyone. You mean everything here." He said

I look down but he touches my chin and makes me look in his eyes.

"W-What are you doing?” I said. I think my heart was going to explode.

“Don't feel small. It doesn't matter if you don't have a wolf or there's healers here. The important thing is the upcoming role you will be doing for the pack." He said, kissing my forehead.

I feel that little spark again, We look at each other's eyes "Do you feel that?" I ask. 

"Yes." He admitted. 

“D-Do you think that I can possibly be your mate?

"I don"t know. But I just want you to know that I'm starting to like you." He said. He was about to kiss me but was interrupted by my phone ringing.

Wooooh! That was close!

"Hello?”

“Piggy! It's me, I’m on my way to visit you there. Tell your alpha that I'm coming." Tyler said.

"Oh my gosh?! Really?” I said.

"Yes! I just need his approval to get in.” Tyler said.

"Okay wait!”

I look at Kayden and he looks pissed off.

"Kayden, my best friend was in your perimeter, he wanted to----”

"Okay let him in." He said not looking at me.

"Okay thank you.-Hello Tyler? You still there?" I ask. 

“Yes piggy! Can I enter his territory now?” Tyler asks.

“Yes."

"See you in a bit Piggy.” He said before hanging up.

"Kayden, thank you for the tour and food. I enjoyed it." I said.

But he doesn’t respond.

"Let's go now. I need to fix some things in my office." I said. 

“No prob."

We walked to the pack house quietly. The air seems to change and I can feel the uncomfortable feelings coming from Kayden.

I stopped and pulled his hand.

"Kayden? What's wrong? Did I do something wrong?" I ask.

"Nothing, let's go back quickly.” He said, turning his back and walking away. Leaving me confused in his actions.
