I reached the house trying to see if Kayden was waiting for me inside, but he's not there. What was his problem? Why suddenly change his attitude. I don't want to think that it's about my best friend. I'm already over my crush on Tyler, a long time ago.

I went straight to the kitchen to make sandwiches and ate it all in just three big bites. "Until now, you're still a pig, Piggy.” I turn around to see my best friend Tyler standing while smirking at the entrance of the kitchen.

"TY!” I shouted before I hurriedly ran into his arms. I jumped into him and hugged me tight. "I missed you, Ty!”

“Awww you're too heavy Piggy." He said, hugging me back. Actually, carrying me as I jumped into him. 

"Why are you here?" I asked.

“Well... I need your help. Kristin will give birth next week and we don't have anyone to help her. We don’t have a new healer at the pack so I decided to visit you here and ask the Alpha for you to go back for two weeks. There's a lot of pregnant women that will give birth this month. We still can not find someone who can help them." He said.

“Yes, I remember that your sister Kristin is due next week. My gosh! Come, let's talk to Kayden."

He follows me to Kayden's office. I knock three times before I enter his room.

"Alpha." I slightly bow to him "this is my friend Tyler and he came to all you something." I said.

He doesn't say anything, just keeps his emotionless face. He's staring at my hand that was holding Tyler's. I instantly removed my hands. This is not a good time to make him mad. I need something.

"Alpha, I came to request Adellee to go back to SnowMoon for two w----”

Tyler was cut off by a thunderous sound of Kayden's hand slamming at the table.

“I let you in my land even if I don't want you, now you're asking for my future Luna to leave my side and return to your pack?! How dare you." Kayden said.

His presence scares me. I’ve never seen him this mad. What was his problem?

“Alpha, it's just temporary. Her sis---” he cut me again by throwing his chair at the door.

‘I said no.’ Kayden said.

"What the hell is your problem?” I said turning my back, leaving him and dragging Tyler with me.

“What happened back there?” Tyler asked.

"I don’t know. He has become so moody since this morning.“ I said, slamming myself into my bed. I dragged him into my room. 

“Is this your room?” Tyler said.

"Yes and no. I am sleeping in Kayden's room, this is my own personal space in this pack." I said.

“Wait... what? You're sleeping with him, in the same room?” He asked unbelievably.

"Hey, clear your mind. We are just sleeping in the same room and bed but that's it!" I said defending myself from what was on Tyler's mind. 

“I don't want you to get into trouble because of this. Maybe I can ask the other pack to borrow their healer for a while.” He said sitting on the right side of my bed.

I move closer to him and hug his tummy.

"I want to help you and Kristin but my stubborn heartless alpha is prisoning me in this pack." I said.

“I'm sorry Piggy, you're not supposed to do this." He said holding my right hand.

We are in that spot when suddenly Kayden enters the room. I looked at him and I saw how furious he was. He was shaking and his claws were already showing. He was partially shifting.

“Kayden calm down!” I said running to his side and holding him. He might kill Tyler by his actions.

"Is he your lover?" He asked.

"He is my best friend Kayden! Please stay calm! What's wrong with you?” I said feeling confused by his action and the sparks when I touched him.

“I want you to leave my land, I will send someone on your pack to help you with whoever needs it, just leave now!” He said.

"I will if you stop acting like a jealous alpha in front of me. She's my best friend and you're just a hypocrite that wants that stupid contract fulfilled." Tyler said.

Oh my gosh! This is really bad!

What did you just say?" He asked.

"Tyler please leave! I can not hold his anger any longer." I ordered. 

He didn’t move.

"I will not leave you with an outraging alpha!"

"Please go to the kitchen now, I'll talk to you later. Just leave us alone for a minute." I said.

"LLLLEEEEEAAAVVEE," Kayden said with an animalistic tone. His wolf has taken over his body.

"Kayden please liste---"

“YOUUU’RRE NOOOT GGGOOIING TO LEEAVVVE" he said, caging me into his arms. I can feel his range, his anger but I am also enjoying the moment.

‘What on earth is wrong with me? Enjoying the moment? Really Adellee?!’ 

"I will not go back to SnowMoon if you send someone that can replace my duties there." I said to him.

He's smelling every part of my head and neck.

Gracious Lord! His nipping my neck! Is he going to mark me?

"Kayden, what are you doing?" I ask.

"What do you think?" I can feel that he has already regained control of his body.

“Are you?” I push him away but he pulls me back.

“I’m not going to mark you yet Adellee, but you need to be ready. The blue moon is coming next month. Our wedding needs to be set." He said.

"What? Wedding? How can you set a date without telling me?”

"I didn't set the date. I think you didn't read the contract. But forget about it, I need to talk to that dog of yours about his agenda.” Kayden said.

“I'm going with him.” I wish that I could take those words back, because after I said that I realized my mistake. Kayden threw me on bed and kissed me so hard, yet so passionately. He bit my lips while touching every inch of my body.

“You’re not going and remember this Adellee. You're mine." He left me panting and catching some breath.
